Hi, I’m Earl M. Patterson, the creator of The Village Expo—a platform built to empower small business owners with the tools and community they need to thrive. While I’m not a professional web designer, I’ve taken on the challenge of building this platform using WordPress, BuddyBoss, WCFM, and WooCommerce.

Through hands-on experience, I’ve learned to work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to customize and enhance the website, ensuring it meets the needs of our growing community.

Beyond customization, I’ve also developed custom WordPress plugins to extend the platform’s functionality. One of my key projects is the Future Playlist plugin, designed to give members the ability to upload, organize, and share their own music, spoken word, and podcasts. I continue to refine and expand this plugin, along with others, to enhance the overall experience for members.

I believe in continuous learning and problem-solving, which has driven me to build The Village Expo from the ground up. My goal is to create a space where entrepreneurs can connect, showcase their businesses, and access valuable resources—all in one place.
